Adult Day Center Program Assistant
We’re seeking compassionate, dependable individuals who take pride in their work and have a genuine passion for supporting adults aged 60+ living with chronic health conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, dementia, and Alzheimer’s. Our mission is to deliver person-centered care that helps participants remain in their homes longer while offering vital support to their caregivers.
At the Adult Day Center, we foster a nurturing, engaging, and respectful environment—and we’re looking for two part-time Program Assistants to join us
Key Responsibilities
- Assist participants with daily living tasks
- Support scheduled group activities
- Monitor, document, and report changes in participant health and behavior
- Serve meals and snacks
- Deliver exceptional, person-centered care
Qualifications
- Compassionate, patient, and caring
- Ability to interact positively with participants
- Timely and friendly response to participant needs
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
- Team-oriented attitude
- Dedication to quality care for participants and their families
Position Details
- Job Type: Full and part-time hours available
- Pay Rate: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift – No nights or weekends
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- Certifications: CNA and CPR (Preferred)
